About the Market
Clay Commons in Director Park is a weekly summer ceramics market in the heart of downtown Portland. Held every Wednesday, the market brings together local ceramic artists to share, sell, and connect their pieces with the community.

Each week features ceramic vendors offering a range of work: from functional ware to sculptural pieces. The final Wednesday of each month will feature a Guilds Bazaar, highlighting a broader mix of local makers.

Vendor Information

Each ceramics vendor is provided a 10×10 booth space.
Vendors are responsible for bringing their own setup, including table, tent, and display.
There are no additional fees beyond registration.
Vendors may share booths with other ceramic artists under one account.
We welcome student groups and Portland-based ceramic studios.
Pieces must be handmade and local. We don’t offer vending for resell or manufactured work.

Communal Booth

The communal booth is designed for artists who are unable to attend weekly but would still like to participate in the market.

-Work is displayed and managed by a market coordinator within a shared booth environment.

- Artists provide a focused selection of work that fits within one 17 qt bin and is suitable for shared display. Coordinators will stay in touch throughout the season regarding restocking.
- Sales are handled on your behalf for a $110 seasonal fee and 15% comission.

Volunteer opportunities are also available for artists who would like to assist with setup or sales coordination.
